Here's a few more games released by Japanese Dev Inufuto. These are all multi-platform releases and seem to use the same game engine but are quite playable.

Japanese Dev Inufuto
Hey, did Oric get some attention from Japanese devs in the day, or are these more recent releases?

They were all released this year along with ports to approximately 40 other machines! Seems the guy built a game engine for all the various computers and wrote the base games in C++ and then ported them! I think he may be an Alien in disguise

Forgot to mention that he also did 'Lift' and 'Ascend' which have already been added to oric.org.

I'm off work for the foreseeable future due to health issues, mainly a greatly enlarged spleen causing all kinds of problems. I hope that during this time I can work on my Gamebase and release one last version; will also add games here if I consider them worthy.

Here's another nice new game by Inufuto, this time a Galaga style shoot-em-up called Guntus.

GUNTUS is not just a Galaga style shoot-em-up, but a rather good one, actually, and probably the best bullet-shmup on Oric .. so far ..

Or is there a better bullet-hell game for Oric?

Incidentally, great use of text mode.

Ah, nice, a la 8-bit Unity strategy - which is of course a good one.

I think the Oric could do a few more tricky things, I wonder if that C++ is out there somewhere .. ?

EDIT: All the best for your health, Dave. Happy to hear of your future Oric antics!

It's not C++, it's actually his own language

Basically he wrote his own compiler and assembler, there are more details on the Atari Age forum:
