Ha... well, never seen that album cover, but then again I've never been a fan of Pink Floyd :)

Any news on the tool?
Last we heared of Goyo, if I'm not mistaken, he asked for FILL routines, so I suspect he planned some improvement. But that was a few months ago.

Noticed a small "bug" in OricHir: it saves the HIRES screen up to BF40, when it actually ends in BF3F.

This could be a detail, but it seems it's producing some mess with tape loading on ROM 1.0.

Try the following on ROM 1.0:
- load a HIRES screen saved with an end address in BF40
- right after, type:

Code: Select all

CURSET99,99,1:I=1:CIRCLEI,1
You'll get an ILLEGAL QUANTITY ERROR. And if you carry on using the Oric, random error messages appear.

None of this happens on ROM 1.1, nor (apparently) on ROM 1.0 with a file ending in BF3F.

I suspect the tape loading routines, which according to l'Oric à Nu (page 276) are doing suspicious things at the end of the loading. Can't see another reason, but I didn't really searched for it since it seems to work with BF3F.
