Hi,
This is some kind of follow-up to the thread https://forum.defence-force.org/viewtop ... =20&t=2071
Some Cobra Soft (French company) software were protected by specific tape routines, mixing fast and slow encoded bytes according to a key. And skipping some bytes. And EORing bytes.
Dom descibed it all in detail in 2013 (Ceo-Mag 283 and further). He also explained how he made TAP files of Cobra Soft protected games, with a rather long process of loading and re-saving files.
Spare time being what it is, 9 years later comes an easier solution
Instead of using Wavclean + Wav2tap,just use Wavclean + Cobr2tap to decode the specific Cobra Soft routines. It will simply decode correctly the signal, would it be fast or slow bytes. So it doesn't have to deal with the other protections that remain unchanged.
Have fun (or not )

Hi,
You are right, my manual way of transferring cobrasofts games Wav files was quite cumbersome and time consuming.
Having a tool to automate this process is just great !
You are simply the best Symoon
