This is the right place to discuss on how to implement hardware vsync, adding a VIA or AY chipset, puting multiple roms, or how to design a new flash expansion card.
Well, was few days off so i finally assembly my Cumana interface
Display OLED 2,42 from Ali, Microgotek running under Flash Floppy firmware ( my construction) plugged direct in to Cumana board as floppy emulator. Metal case , some drilling and 3D printing (front panel) and drive is ready
Nice! Did you have to make some tweaks to Flash Floppy to make it work?
I've got a few FF's, mostly in use on my Amstrad and Spectrum systems .. would indeed be nice to have the same rig for Oric if it meant read/write capabilities.
Well , FIRMWARE 2.12 ff, all looks ok. Anyway, i almost finish my version of CUMANA interface with integrated Gotek on board, "all in one"
Tomorrow i check again design and send it to PCB factory.
Ok, here is idea. It is my floppy drive for Atari, so i plan do something like this for Oric , build in 3,5 drive and Gotek. On front panel is enough space for display , USB and encoder. ABBA switch for swap drives GOTEK/FLOPPY . Metal solid case, price approx 60-80 GBP depend of orders. Who in?
