After concluding that some humming noise (especially prior to reset upon powering on) is an Oric's feature I decided to slightly decrease speaker volume
Would me 100 Ohm resistor be enough?
I can't answer that, but since I'm not sure how you wanted to proceed, you can do that without soldering or modifying the machine by putting a resistor (or a potentiometer) on the TAP output (the connector has some audio pins).

IMHO with 100 Ohms the sound will be too low, but this is individual and depend on how much you want to decrease the volume.
