no colour on my atmos

If you want to ask questions about how the machine works, peculiar details, the differences between models, here it is !
How to program the oric hardware (VIA, FDC, ...) is also welcome.

I think you mean a CM8833-11 but

yes its probably ok as long as its not a TTL only monitor. RGB can either be delivered to the monitor digitaly (ie TTL) or analogue. You want analogue, its likely that the CM8833-II can do both, its of the time when the Amiga was around and that could do both.

You need to make the following cable, its based on the assumption that the connector input to the 8833-11 is a 9 pin D Sub sockect - ie it looks like a serial connector from the back of a PC.

Oric Connector------------------------CM8833-11
Red 1---------------------------------------3
Green 2--------------------------------------4
Blue 3---------------------------------------5
Comp Sync 4 --------------------------------------7
Ground 5---------------------------------------1 and 2 (joined)

That should get it going happily.

For Ref this is the pinout diagram for the monitor
____________
\ 5 _4 _3_2_1 /
\_9_8_7_ 6_/

-Pin- -RGB Analogue-
1 Ground
2 Ground
3 Red
4 Green
5 Blue
6 Fast Blanking
7 Composite Sync
8 H. Sync
9 V. Sync

Dont worry about the H sych, the V synch - the Oric uses composite synch that carries both of those. It doesnt use fast blanking either.

I guess its possible that the monitor is TTL only, there may not be any way to know for sure, some monitors had a push button on the back to select TTL or analogue, the best bet is to get the seller to take a large decent photo of the rear of the monitor and email to you.

Its probably exactly what you are looking for tho.
