ISS, I think you were interested in this 1st Atmos ROM version, here it is, tape-saved from one of my Atmos. The checksum fits with the one at http://oric.free.fr/ROMS/romident.txt, called "A65D6CED Basic 1.1 original première mouture, appelé aussi Basic 1.1a".
To me the two main (only?) differences are:
- it checks for parity error during the synchro sequence, which lead to problems with tape readers that did adjust the sound level at the beginning of playback
- it did stop the auto-start when "errors" were "found" (which ROM v1.1b didn't anymore!)
Atmos ROM 1.1, 1st version (called 1.1a, checksum A65D6CED)
Re: Atmos ROM 1.1, 1st version (called 1.1a, checksum A65D6CED)
Thanks for the effort, Symoon!
This confirms my expectations - the code related to CLOAD is exactly the same as in the Pravetz-8D ROM!
I want to "investigate" when the Pravetz was copied from Oric
.
You said this particular Oric is an Atmos, do you have more info about it like production date, serial number, etc.?

Re: Atmos ROM 1.1, 1st version (called 1.1a, checksum A65D6CED)
I am quite sure my Atmos has that ROM too (based on the research done when working on the fast load of SkoolDaze with Fabrice and Symoon) and this ROM came from a 1-to-Atmos conversion kit.
Re: Atmos ROM 1.1, 1st version (called 1.1a, checksum A65D6CED)
Well, the Atmos I got the ROM 1.1a from, hasn't got its serial number anymore.
So ISS, I pictured the motherboard, hoping it might help.

Great picture. Thanks, Symoon!
I think I should have such PROM somewhere, need to dig out it...
