Another one 10 lines competition.

Post by rax »

Hi :),

A few days ago ISS showed me this link for the another competition.
The rules are a bit more demanding, but I think ORIC has a better chance.

I think the 72-character limit is due to "TRS-80 Micro Color Computer"

There are two more weeks left until the deadline. This is another good opportunity to show what our ORIC can do.

If anyone wants they can join :).

Congratulations!
Are you actually preparing a new Oric book? Something like "20 pages, 40 games" ;)

EDIT: the competition page doesn't list clearly for which computer each program was. There are two other Oric entries at least, another by Rax (Tentlantis), and another by 6502Nerd (Bomber)

"Learning Basic with Rax"
I'm sure it'll be a bestseller.

Well, that would actually be a good idea: A 2021 variant of the good old "20 programs for your Oric 1", with some explanations about the tricks you used, an index page, some screenshots, etc... maybe even a page on how to use the common emulators, load and save the programs, you know, targeted to people who never used an Oric before :)

Then you come up with a proper cover, a pdf as you said, and it can be part of the Oric library!

Congrats Rax!
(Somewhat late to the congrats party, come here less frequently lately as I am very busy at a Commodore 128 project now and therefore not so much on the Oric…..)

No worries, I'm in Austria, we can have a S/E Europe Oric Camp some day, eh? Swap you an Atmos for a Pravetz! :)

Congratulations !!

Once again you put the Oric at the top and make it proudly compete with other platforms.

That's a very impressive work of conciseness.

Stunning.
