Yep, Google-drive links stink in this respect ... something like a MINIMIUM of 10mb/s to be even usable
It's all good now, I've managed to work out how to download each of those issues no problem in seconds. I'm on fibre optic, tested just now at 12.2.

I suppose we should add this to the list.

Great Steve, and thanks for the update list (and index)
In fact, we've a lot more -and i've scanned a big amount of pages from jean's mag) but i've to finalize pdf creation and upload them.
for example, i've all from 29 to 45 and from 113 to 136
Some job to put on the top of the todo list

I added the index file to
https://www.defence-force.org/computing ... ermonthly/
Now the question is: Should I make the files actually visible/crawlable?
I don't remember why it was not done, was it that we were waiting for the authorization of Dave or something?

Yes, i think so.
That's the reason for a registration is required on ceo.oric.org for some oum available. (
https://ceo.oric.org/?s=oum)
(a free registration, no request to pay a ceo membership)

I think we have permission but there was the issue of having people's contact details in the mag. I think phone numbers etc were sometimes printed(?)

I'm currently scanning the missing OUMs between 10-20.
Are there any others missing? 29-45?
[edit] I've done up to 36 so far. It's slow going with more pages and print that is hard to see. I'm having to edit most pages so the text can be seen.

OK, it's all done up to 112.
Enough scanning for now!

Thanks Steve!
Scanning is sometimes the real boring work, well done.

Yup, Steve has done an awesome job with these.
Now the question is to see if I should upload them all, or if we have to go through them one by one to see if anything should not be published.
If you think it's fine, I can add them all this week end

I was reading one of the later ones and found someone's new address printed there. That's the sort of thing that concerns me. I think the early ones should be fine and most people will probably have moved.
Contact list was printed in issue 58 so I'll see if I can edit that - even though it's old

I second that.
I remember, despite my requests, my full name and address were published in CEO (that was long ago). I had been bothered by a crazy guy a few years before (at my address, my parents', at work). And it happened again since then. So I
really wouldn't like that kind of information to go public.

When I published the PDF of the german magazines, Bit, Atmosphäre, Atmosphere, I removed all the phone numbers, street addresses and bank account numbers I could fine. I kept the names and cities, I think that's an acceptable trade-off, fully anonymising means we don't even know who was writing what
So, regarding OUM, here are the 52 first issues, with all the PDF, from september 1987 to december 1991:
