ROM 1.22?

This is the best place to discuss about the various Oric operating systems like Sedoric, Randos, FT-Dos, and others, as well as serious software, utilities, word processors, disassemblers, etc... that runs on oric computers.

Nice projects seem to be in the air... I love Oric and its possibilities.

For those particular ROMs 1.2x I'm really nice surprised by the way they are made - all changes are on carefully selected places, without affecting the well known and commonly used BASIC entry points, so no big concerns about the compatibility. About the speed there is definitely improvement (from every JSR/RTS -> JMP you win 9 cycles and in BASIC 1.1 they are many, many...) but don't expect miracles :).
Of course for my projects I prefer to not use ROM calls at all. That's it!

Nice idea, thanks! Will see how it works and what can be done... ;)
