Lovebyte party - size coding
Lovebyte party - size coding
If you ever wanted to give a shot at size coding, you have up to next friday to send your entries to the http://lovebyte.party I had totally skipped the date (I thought it was in may), but I should at least have a 256 bytes entry for the Oric (granted, it's a variation of an older one, so don't expect miracles).

Re: Lovebyte party - size coding
Wow, this is challenging - I definitely will not have time to make something so small that is in any way interesting!
You probably know this quote by Blaise Pascal which is why I cannot consider it..
“Please forgive the long letter; I didn’t have time to write a short one.”
But I wish you best of luck!

No need to get luck, I'm not planning to win anything, I'm just trying to at least have one oric entry in the party

Re: Lovebyte party - size coding
Well, short code is certainly not my specialty My ambition is 'working and not too slow' code for now Never made a career in programming after hobbying in BASIC as a kid (became an auditor instead, so I am the person that triggers you to write documentation you never had and you will never use nor maintain after I am gone). And only recently started to hobby somewhat in programming again.
But good luck to the elite coders here.

Only made #25 out of 35 entries, but I've learnt a lot about what people like and don't like, so maybe I'll give another attempt one of these days, but spending the proper amount of time on visuals and audio
Also, it would be a DSK so I don't lose 14 bytes in the tape header

If you liked "Glich Love", you can vote for it for the "Nano Awards 2022" on either Pouet or Demozoo

It was not that awesome, but it does not hurt to try to make the Oric more visible
