Cumulus Preorder Thread

I collected my Cumulus from the Post Office today. Once I get a suitable PSU I'll test it. What are the current recommended PSUs? Do we have a 'standard' one that doesn't need polarity selecting or anything that can be ordered online?

I recommend at least one capable of delivering 1.5A .. anything less and you're potentially going to have problems.

If you can print a case in black and white instead of black and orange you could switch my 1 possible to 2.
I'm just waiting on a few more comments/reviews from people that have them before switching one to a definite. (EDIT: Updated, but check that with metadata directly)

Sure i can print it in black/white. But the white is not the grey/white from the oric. But you can paint it if you like

Great news. The cumulus replacing the one that had a burnt chip just arrived and it is working nicely. And it is working on a different Atmos, so another hit!

look's like the voltage converter for the lcd is burned out. don't know why yet... i had not found the time to look at the defect cumulus.

Hey everybody,

i only want to make this clear for everyone who want's a cumulus because some people ask that. I can't guarantee that the Cumulus will work correct with your Oric. We all are working on that.
But i can say if your Cumulus will absolutely not work with your Oric and you don't want to keep it it's no problem to send it back to me and you get back your money (except the shipping).

so.... don't panic
