This is great idea to have such summary of the year!
coco.oric wrote: Sun Nov 15, 2020 5:41 pm - CC65 Chess : https://www.oric.org/software/cc65_chess-2504.html
About our chess game - there is small detail which I like to be fixed at oric.org:
We released two versions of the game:

- open source - which is merged to the main repository and is the game only. This version is already at oric.org but here is the TAP file again:
cc65-Chess.tap.zip
(11.64 KiB) Downloaded 188 times
- full game with intro and nice splash screen devoted especially to all Oric fans which is available in my post and here is the TAP again:
cc65-Chess-raxiss-1.00.tap.zip
(20.71 KiB) Downloaded 182 times
Please, upload the full game at oric.org and if possible update the screenshots with more attractive :) (I can provide screenshots if needed).
Thanks!

There's Flappy Oric 3D that was released in 2020 ..

Well .. I must admit this game was a big failure from the sales point of view .. compared to the game it was made from.
But technically speaking, it's a game .. it's a cover game.

And it was my first attempt to have a piece of my code entering history by being hosted on oric.org site.

Can you precise which tap file i"ve to put on the list as there're several on the git
Your 3d text or realtime is quite more impressive

The reference version of Flappy Oric 3D is here (there's a download button somewhere):
https://github.com/jbperin/oricFlappyOr ... appy3d.tap

The best version of Text demo is here:
https://forum.defence-force.org/downloa ... hp?id=2007

The 3D walkthrough Template is here:
https://forum.defence-force.org/downloa ... hp?id=2054

The last two are rather demo than games .. so I don't know if they deserve to be on oric.org.

If demos are of interest, I think this one might deserve its place:
https://forum.defence-force.org/viewtop ... =21&t=2138
It's real time rendering of motion capture on Oric.

Yes good idea indeed to have such a list.
I think we lost track of many releases in the 90s and 00s, as they are not commercial ones and had sometimes very little distribution.

By the way: how did you get the screenshot at https://cdn.oric.org//games/software/l/ ... REEN16.BMP ?

It is very weird that it shows that half yellow pawn at the start field. That should not happen, never saw it myself in testing.
Even if you captured in the midst of the pawn plotting it would be very weird, plotting starts from the top, so very strange that only the lower half is showing. Did you encounter this more often?
EDIT: Just thought that most probably you captured just at the moment the pawn is erased before it is moved elsewhere. Erasing plots indeed also starting from the top.

I quickly tried the game and had the same problem (in green !) after opening/closing a menu window. It was persistant. I think I was using Euphoric.
