Coolman:
Village is 'The Dark Mystery Village' type-in from 'More Games for Your Oric'
Vers is named 'Poule' in the listing, no doubt because a chicken features prominently in the gameplay.
It's of course an educational game. I'll list it under Poule on Oric.org

Re: Missing games from Oric.Org
Your right of course Jonh
the only qualification for putting on programs here is that they are not on "ORIC.ORG" whether commercial ,type in or magazine listing , I like to think its adding to list of programmes for the ORIC . Here's another !

Hi,
The original 'Captain's log' file on oric.org is bugged (programmation bugs) so, it is impossible to complete the game.
The attached file for download contains a debugged TAP version and an 'enhanced' disc version .
------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------
If you need help to complete this game, you will find HERE , map, solution, and infos on the bugs from the original version.

Re: Missing games from Oric.Org
It's a learning software about about how to read a length on a "calliper gauge" (if google trad is fine)
I'm quite surprised about the accuracy level in the software. dimensions are explained with a 0.1 mm precision. I think that 0.01 was usual early in the eighties. May be the appliance of the gauge isn't metal industry ; unless the accuracy explanation was limited by Oric Hires pixel readability

Re: Missing games from Oric.Org
Another type in game , a maze type called " Le Cite Des Robots "
Missing games from Oric.Org: Athanor
"Athanor the Awakening" by Eric Safar was released in 2014, but only in French. At that time, the game was sold with a very nice packaging and material clues.
Recently Eric was contacted in order to authorize the free download on Oric.org of the disc image of the game.
Since he agreed, I scanned the material clues and Symoon uploaded them to Oric.org.
On this occasion, it appeared that no English version for Oric had been produced while an English version existed for the Amstrad CPC.
So, I decided to try to port the CPC version to the Oric.
The file below is therefore an unofficial release, (but authorized by Eric), made by an oric fan, for oric fans
------------------------------- ------------------------------
If you want to play this game, you will have to download the material clues in the stuff section of the game on oric.org
(you will need to be logged ).
Just follow the link below.
https://www.oric.org/software/athanor-2250.html
Eric is also the author of the game "Mort ou vif" . This game is his first one, written when he was a teenager He would very much like to get a copy of this game, since he lost it years ago. He recently saw it on an online sales site but missed it.
If you have this soft ... you know how to make someone happy

Re: Missing games from Oric.Org
Cool, both for having the game available to everybody, and in English as well
Re: Missing games from Oric.Org
I forgot to precise that I have added the SAVE and LOAD orders, in order to avoid to restart from the begining each time the player stop to play the game.
This add is not documented in the "Player manual" which is the original one...
And also, if you need help, you will find HERE Map and solution (both in English)
