As I read the manual, EAD65C uses the Basic editor. Each 6502 instruction is entered on a line which is numbered as in Basic. The special Auto, Renumber and Delete commands are for use on this source code. See pp16-19 of the manual for examples of source code. The first assembler pass flags any errors with line number and any comment you included in the source. It can then be edited just like a Basic program.
I hope I haven't misunderstood your question, I'm no Assembler expert!

Still cant understand why when loading and running the kit astro .wav file if it contains all four parts why does it put up a searching message as though looking for another file ?
