Re: Pseudo pixel game prototype.
In case it can help, I had made a little tool to generate alternate charset from images. It take an area from a black and white image in 240*224 pixel and create a charset to reproduce this image (and optimize the chaset size by reusing already defined characters). The generated C code uses this fun...

Re: Pseudo pixel game prototype.
What tool did you use to convert the png files to .c data (https://github.com/raxrax/oricOsdkPseudoPixelsGame/blob/master/res.c) ? I don't know what tool master rax used to convert PNG into .c array. But I can show you some similar things written in Python. https://github.com/oric-software/castoric...

Re: Oric extender - a basis for DIY projects and experiments
Succeeded on time! Here you are: ORICART - Enjoy! ORICART looks very good and I would like to know where I can get one. However I don't undertand the link between a basis for DIY projects and a smart cartbridge system. Do you think I could prototype an OTA8REG with this basis for DIY projects ? I t...

Over The Air Registers For Oric
Hi all, I want to share with the Oric community a dream I recently made about a simple gear that could change our life as Oric owners. It's just a fantasy, but I want to write down here what came to me. And if nothing similar exists, I may prototype this idea as soon as I manage to get an Oric Exten...

Re: Cosmic Ark [raxiss]
Hey that's a very nice game.
I didn't get how the main ship can carrying on shooting at asteroids while the little ship is chasing the things on ground .. so I couldn't play long (any help is welcome)
Alliens on ground go very very fast and they are not easy to target.

Re: ULA screen refresh
I think the ULA does its work without interfering with the executing program. It's a bit like it runs while the processor is stopped and it uses the buses through DMA I don't think you need to sleep or wait for something to finish. I made some program in HIRES in C .. and I never had to worry about ...

Re: CEO-MAG 40th Anniversary
here were plenty of "3D" games on the Oric: - 3D Fongus - Probe 3 - 3D Tic-Tac-Toe Yes and I've allways thought it would be a very interesting topic for an Oriclopedia episode covering all different 3D approach used over years on oric. I thank God that such an episode has not been produce...

Re: Oric Screen Editor: editor for creating Oric Atmos text screens
Thank you very very very much. I put three "very" because this gift that you make to the community is useful in 3 different ways (at least for me): - it's a wonderful wysiwyg tools to design, create and test screen. - It's a wonderful example of how to use SEDORIC - It's a wonderful exampl...

Re: Space Force [raxiss]
Very promising demo. If Dbug starts casting a glance at your code, we can expect some speed enhancement in a near futur (and you can expect a big workload to pop on your todo list) :D Anyway the graphic accuracy and fineness are already very impressive. You manage to deal with shadows, colors, sprit...

Re: Pseudo pixel game prototype.
Thank you very much Rax for the realease of this source code. As usual with your code I find it is neat, inspiring and so smartly designed that it is enjoyable to read. Big Up !! I made a little screencap of the color version with my new friend the Oric 2.5 animated gif feature : 2022-12-22-09420068...
