Re: The Smiths are Dead
Oh my, great, another new game!
The amount of new releases is amazing. I'm a bit away from the Oric world and I lost the count of new games I'd have to try!

Re: Seeking tape and disk image knowledge
So here's where I start asking questions. First, TAP files. I've implemented support for TAP files that works pretty well, using the excellent info here: https://forum.defence-force.org/viewtopic.php?p=18651&sid=f342a6347f365cb6fca2bc1b6e35d3de#p18651 However, there doesn't seem to be a clear i...

Re: Oricutron and disk images
I downloaded the 1st disk of the list and it boots fine with Euphoric.
These are the working disks from Norsoft company, that we transfered 24 years ago, scattered and without the few docs that went with them. But the disk does boot.

Re: Happy birthday Oric
For the 40 years, I made an article on how I'm retriving the text of the French Oric book "l'Oric à Nu" by Fabrice Broche, from some original working disks that I found by surprise within disks and hardware I bought a few years ago. This book is (at least to my eyes) the French Oric refere...

Today is the official Oric-1 launch date, making our beloved computers 40 years old!
(well, ok, they existed before as prototypes and all, but anyway)

Re: Cricket OUM
My question have I read in a previous post about an enthusiast that offered to copy and convert tapes to Wav files and then to Tap files is the guy still offering that service ? That would be me probably! At first, can you make a WAV file of the tape (at 44kHz, ideally in stereo/8 bits, but anythin...

Re: DBUG
does Load Vader save to disk? It just loads ;) Displaying the Loading name and data type, the start/end addresses, and I hope (but can't recall) the AUTO mode. Thus you have everything on screen to operate any save command. What it doesn't do, is loading to a specific memory location (it wasn't int...

Re: DBUG
The C code you posted is not from me for sure, I never coded for Oric in C (the C code I painfully write trying to remember my 1997 school is for MS-Dos, producing TAP or WAV files). I'm actually a bit lost in what you're doing right now. If you want to load from tape then save on disk, maybe you ca...
