I haven't forgotten Space1999 but atm i would really prefer if someone else could do the music and sound effects. That would be a pitty, as I already have heard what you are able to do, and it is unbelievable. Your effects and music in AT really ROCK! (BTW couldn't those sound effects be hardcoded ...

Couldn't you write a routine in the level editor that scans each screen for such errors and generates a warning? Yes, it should be possible. The problem here is time. In addition it won't be something general, as you can allways have objects that can dissappear when colliding with them, or make you...

arggh i cannot get out this corner ARGHH... another layout problem... Will fix it asap. These complicated room layouts are very nice, but also it is easy to have these problems... You surely went down near the plants where there are no stairs, so you can't get up the platform again... I hope you sa...

Ahh. I think I found that hideous bug. Indeed there was a major problem when restoring your saved game from disk at game start . A lot of weird behaviours, but most noticeable was the problem with doors not opening. While I fix this and other bugs, please notice that it works if you load your saved ...

For the point 5), perhaps simply waiting for a key to be released before checking for a key to be pressed would solve the problem. This way if the player died with a key pressed, it will not automaticaly skip the wait key, the player will have to release and then repress the key :) Yep. In fact tha...

BEWARE I have been reported that there might be a major issue when loading saved games. That might be the reason for some weird behaviours. I will look at it as soon as I have some time. Fabrice also told me that it seems some passcodes behave strangely with inconsisten naming (the name issues that...

Oh yes, the manual... Well I'm not willing to be the boring guy, but it took ages to be displayed on my old P4-2gHz computer. Too many graphics maybe ? I could almost see it being diplayed line by line, just like HIRES pictures loaded from tape  Mmmm.. I have a 1.7GHz laptop and it loads quit...

A swimming pool? In low gravity? Oh that would be fun! :) Well, Space 1999 is not well-known for its scientific accuracy... I decided to post this beta version here. I have little time for carefully testing, so those who whish can get the program here: http://www.defence-force.org/ftp/forum/isometr...

Ok, finished the bulk of the passcode system. Of course there is still a lot of debugging and testing to be done and some details are still missing. Passcodes can be given by other characters (this was already included) or you can find them around Alpha. Some screenshots: John finds a passcode that ...

I can probably send you the intro source and data if you want to integrate it, even if it's still in the same state as before ? Not sure, really. Maybe the intro can be auto-run from disk and make it load the game when it is over. This way it won't use resources and can be integrated at any time, w...

Ok, september came in and it is time for one more update about this little game. I have resumed development, though at a quite slow pace, and made some progresses: - The game now starts with Koenig at Main Mission, which is quite more logical. - On starting the game asks if the user wants to restore...

Re: Twilighte Update
Sorry to hear things didn't go as expected in Finland. Get your time to settle things back in UK and good luck.
I have my own family medical crisis, so I also need time to finish some things I am working on in Space 1999 (will post something about this on the forum).
Best wishes!
