Re: "Autoroute" by Peter Shaw
Pieton appears to be based on the game M4 which was indeed by Peter Shaw. It's a listing in 'Games for your Oric'. It likely was renamed Autoroute as that is a far better name than M4 (which only makes sense in the UK).

Re: Encounter - Corruption, or protection?
The version I had ended with GOT13550. I've checked line 13550 and it seems to be the correct GOTO line so I simply corrected the spelling mistake which doesn't appear to have caused any kind of corruption in the code.

Re: Blake's 7 feedback and review thread
I managed to find a scan of the review which indeed was in Issue 176. I've added it to this post as an attachment.

Re: Blake's 7 feedback and review thread
I managed to find a copy of Issue 175 today but there was no review in the Magazine. I guess it's going to be in Issue 176 which supposedly goes on sale today or tomorrow. I will look out for it! I couldn't find it https://issuu.com/FuturePublishing/docs/ret176.issuu It will likely be in the 'Homeb...

Re: Pinball Wizard
Oh - I thought Pinball Wizard would be different to Macadam Bumper, but it does look basically the same. Macadam Bumper sounds a bit more American to me. So is Accolade the parent company of Ere ? And then it was Infogrames. Did Infogrames buy Accolade or vice versa? A complete guess but I would im...

Re: Copy programs.
I have found 'Private Copy' by Micropuce to be invaluable to me, however I'm not familiar with the software you mentioned so don't know if this what you require.

Re: OASIS development
I'm looking forward to playing this. The Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion point and click games are some of my favourite games of all time. To play a similar game on the Oric will be amazing!

Re: Not another boulder dash clone!
Just noticed a slight error on the title screen; the game was created by Peter Liepa but you've spelt it Lepia! Not important (might be to Peter... ) but probably worth amending if you ever release an updated version.

Re: Run the Gauntlet
The info provided suggests the game was 'developed' but not released due to Anthony moving over to Micro Projects who programmed some quality C64 software; Thing on a Spring, Monty on the Run etc. I would love to know if 'developed' means actually completed or just a concept. Magazine adverts aren't...

Run the Gauntlet
I've always wondered about the entry on oric.org regarding a mysterious game called 'The Gauntlet' by PSS. I used to own all the PSS games and was baffled by this entry, but finally I have discovered something that gives closure on it's non-existence!! I wonder if there's an incomplete version still...

This looks absolutely amazing! If only we had such talent back in the 80's such as yours Chema, the Oric would have been a resounding success!!

Re: Gamebase Oric V3.0
Hi Guys, Just a quick message to say that the Gamebase project is not dead but currently in Limbo. I've just been through a rather unpleasant relationship break-up and have been forced to sell my house. I should be moving within the next four weeks and will hopefully be able to get my life back on t...
