Re: What does everyone think of this?

The new one I've listed is a bit more expensive:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331085325900? ... 1555.l2649
because of integration of second PSU in the case. It's 9V PSU to power the computer via the drive and the mess of the desk will be less :)

Re: What does everyone think of this?

Thanks ibisum. I don't thing my drives are in oposite to Cumulus. They are for these people that love the sound of drive engines, the light of the drive and the spirit of old Oric times :) I have HxC SD card emulator and will buy Cumulus too, but still I prefer the good old drives. I thing it's exce...

The schematics have some little improvements than the original. The color is my Good Bye of this project, and I'm a bit sad, because th...

Re: Faulty Microdisc because of the board? Almost no problem

I was made it for Bulgarian controllers years ago. Just forgot to make it to my Blue edition Microdiscs. I have Jasmin 1, that powers the computer via ribbon cable too, so the idea is not new. Just need very quality cables.

Re: Faulty Microdisc because of the board? Almost no problem

Еxcept the dimensions the other feature is that there is 5V power jumper connector. So if you connect it you can work with Oric without need of Oric PSU - it will power via ribbon cable. It's tested and it's working.

Re: Hadware ignorant question - Jasmin / Microdisc

I thing it's possible if manage IO signal - to go to Jasmin or to Microdisc. The question is if you want to make new controllers or you have both. If you have them I thing it's not difficult to build, but if you not, I don't know if it's possible to build new Jasmin, because of the PAL program. We h...
