Euphoric not recognising roms in DosBox after fresh install.

Hi, I desperately need some help here! I use Euphoric via DosBox on my Windows 7 64bit computer to take screenshots of games for my Gamebase (sadly no option exists in Oricutron). I recently had my hard-drive crash and have had to install a new one. Everything was backed up and is now re-installed, ...

Re: Old tapes found 2 (I'm back !)

What a wonderful surprise! I knew you were transfering more tapes but I had never imagined just how many, and so many new games for me to check out just like last time. Thanks, you're a star! :P

Re: Transferring Array files from tape to PC.

The main game files transfered just fine but converting the array 'WAVS' resulted in files that had zero bytes. I also tried using a piece of Oric software called 'Private Copy' but this also wouldn't read the array files. I'm sure they are error free, the Data sounded clean and the Atmos didn't rep...

Re: Transferring Array files from tape to PC.

It worked! Took less than a hour to do as well. Here we now have a 100% working TAP file for this game.

Re: Transferring Array files from tape to PC.

I've come up with a way for me to recreate the 12 missing files without the need to transfer WAV files. It's very long-winded and I must be insane but what I am doing is writing down the contents of the 12 arrays (via my Oric Atmos). They contain mainly numbers and shouldn't take too long to write d...

Re: Transferring Array files from tape to PC.

BTW Dave I suppose there is a standard basic program first on the side, right? If so you can sample the whole side, edit the silences between each part (leave a very small silence), it should decode the whole side in a raw into a TAP file. This is not recommended as it can generate some garbage byt...

Transferring Array files from tape to PC.

I have just recently acquired the game 'NHL Icehockey Manager' for the Atmos and managed to transfer the main game file to TAP. Unfortunately on the reverse of the tape are 12 files which need to be loaded before the game will begin. These are loaded from the BASIC program via the RECALL command and...

Re: Spot the Oric ..

I could be mistaken but about 23 seconds in there is what looks like an Oric-1 on the shelf to the right of the screen, bottom left hand side.

It's working ok for me. Are you sure you have the latest version of Oricutron? It's up to version 1.2 now.

Re: hello all

Well I've just checked the listing, minus the DATA and DRAW statements since I checked them thoroughly several times when I originally typed the game in (and play-tested). The only errors I found were spelling mistakes, nothing else. It seems the other version has been modified/enhanced which I have...

Re: hello all

Just checked line 40 and it seems I did add the word 'now' in error. I have typed in hundreds of games over a short period of time and despite checking every one, mistakes can slip through! I will spend the next hour checking this entire listing (nothing else to do :) ) and repost a 100% accurate ta...

Re: hello all

My version was typed in by my own hands from Oric Owner magazine, and yes I know I spelt 'Instructions' wrong :D It's now been corrected!! edit, I also still own the magazine with the listing. It looks like musepat's version was modified slightly... I will get the magazine now and recheck my version.

Re: hello all

Hi, I typed this game in for my Gamebase a while ago and it works just fine, no need to go typing it in again!

I have attached the file to this post.
