Re: My new Cumana drive ;)

About DSK reading/writting i think is worth push Keir (Flash Floppy firmware author) is really friendly man and if enough people ask about proper Oric DSK support, keir can add it to next FF release. About update firmware on Cumana Reborn ,...

Re: My new Cumana drive ;)

I think so. Depend of amper . My interface take approx 0,5 A when is powered by 9 volt , so if is powered from 7,5 take more...Oric take approx 1 amp so power supply must be 2,5 A or more with safety margin.

Re: My new Cumana drive ;)

Ok, my fault, paraller , serial .. bzzzz ;) Idea anyway is canceled due to Oric case design ;) "That being said, if you do a pass-through printer connector, you could also extend the interface board to put some joystick connectors, since this port is often used for that. " You mean connect it flat, ...

Re: My new Cumana drive ;)

Hmm, it is my DDI3 for amstrad CPC,(similiar unit like CUMANA , floppy emulator and floppy interface) connected direct to CPC expansion port. I can redraw CUMANA board and shrink it for this style, but i think, 34 pin connector is to weak to hold it in place. Maybe if i use rerial port too ? Only fo...

On board is socket for programer, so you can reflash it for HXC but i not see any reason for use HXC firmware and you do it on o...
