Re: ULA Paint

I had done such things for Twilighte something like 20 years ago, maybe it could help? It's there pages 31-33: https://www.defence-force.org/computing/oric/library/lib_magazine/ceomag/files/ceomag_153.pdf It certainly can be done better, it must be one of the first projects I did in ASM (along with ...

Re: IJK interface diagrams.

This really makes think of a Battle Zone For Oric because the arcade version had two joysticks !! The standard PASE interface already had two joysticks ports ;) The only software I know that took advantage of it were: - the demo program going with the interface (TRON-like game), allowing 2 players ...

It's really nice looking, and another excellent piece of hardware. You hardware guys are amazing.

Re: Quimoric existed and still exists.

I agree with Dbug :D

BTW funny how the software looks similar to ERE Informatique software releases: a manual with 3D effect, and a robot on the tape inlay.

Re: looking for a pixel flood fill routine

Thanks, that's not that much work, it's just me complaining about the lack of spare time ;)
If you're curious and need some help translating, just let me know (I kept it in French both by lazyness and for Goyo)

Thanks!
Well, at least I knew from the start what I was looking for, it helped a lot ;)

Yeah, a quick exit with a byte test makes sense :)
Well, I haven't deeply checked but I saw a CMP $40 while Lorigraph was executing the fill routine.
So I guess that's the idea ;)

So finally, it will probably be better to isolate Lorigraph's routine... Oh no, not again!

Re: looking for a pixel flood fill routine

The Lorigraph floodfill Algo look like very speed and optimal but it's difficult to disassemble it for me. Oh yes it looks much faster than Genius. Genuis looks nice and is no-so-slow, but I wonder if Lorigraph doesn't already use the idea I had (check/fill pixels by group of six before doing it of...

Re: looking for a pixel flood fill routine

There it is! In French sorry, but I guess automatic translators can do the job if any non-French is curious. Sorry it took so long, I struggled a lot with the stack management, I never found a long quiet moment to focus on it and understand. Now here we are ;) BTW, the code is long, maybe it's worth...

Re: Missing games from Oric.Org

Not a game, but I just came across this bit of history - the Oric Retailer Demo. Apparently Oric during early 1983 finally realised they needed to give retailers something to show to customers. This rather drab tape was the result! There’s even an ‘Illegal Quantity Error’ in the Hires option, and i...

La Cité Maudite/ L'Antre de la Peur

Hi,
I have transferred and scanned the tape of Ere Informatique's La Cité Maudite/ L'Antre de la Peur, but I only got a partial copy of the manual (it's not an original and pages are missing).

Would anyone have this manual?
Thanks

Amazing to hear this. A bit painful to hear after a while, but a nice concept / idea. Never heared before!
