I plan on keeping this one as close to 'original owner condition' as possible.
I absolutely agree with your plan! My point was just: more older sticker means more pain by removing :).

Re: ORICART - smart cartridge for Oric by [raxiss]

Small update:

After many rewrites of the Oric and Arduino code, now transfer to the ORICART are fast (around 3288 bytes/sec.) and rock solid! :)

Re: The BIKE Atmos system.

#2F5 is the '!' vector, so DOKEing some addresses link it to specific routines. The first one '!NUM', imho, can be a BASIC renumbering utility which resides at #954C (obviously need to be CLOADed first). EDIT : IMO, after you have a picture of the sticker it should be removed for better Oric outlook...

I couldn't get ESC A to produce red.
Just pressing ESC then A works for me:

Re: Clock Signal — an Oric emulator for macOS and Linux

Compiled from sources and CTRL/SHIFT are working for me under Fedora/KDE in both SDL and Qt!
Noticed that Qt doesn't have any sound (tested Oric and Apple) but I'm not sure if it's just by me.
Thanks for update!

I that a VGA/DSUB output on the top?
Yes, a quick hack :). The video quality is not good but it's very compact and for my hardware experiments is just perfect.
(I posted about it previously HERE).

Re: ORICART - smart cartridge for Oric by [raxiss]

@ ibisum , @ jbperin and @(all intersted): Little more patience, really! :) To finish the whole project now I'm adding the final touches to the FlashPump for ORICART . The FlashPump links the Oric parallel port to PC's usb and transfers data to be programmed into the empty flash memory. Here is the ...

Re: ORICART - smart cartridge for Oric by [raxiss]

Small update : I've just received new batch of ORICART PCB's (in black color this time), from a new PCB manufacturer who did great job with V-cuts as it was designed ! (V-cuts are for easy separation of the 4 small PCB's from the panel - it breaks like chocolate). 20210430_181536.jpg Tomorrow I'll ...

Re: Oric's 8912 volume scale

Is it the impedance of analog channels output ? When one channel is at high level and that the two other channels are low, a part of the current outputted from the high level goes back to the 8912 through the pins that are at 0V potential. I must admit that I considered it negligible. Here is very ...

Re: Oric V23 Modem

OTRM is never tested with real hardware, so it's very plausible that it's buggy. Did you tried ORICOMMS? IIRC it provides a setup for port and some settings at startup  Should I just get this +5 signal from somewhere to CTS and or DSR as suggested by Chema? I really don't understand this idea ...

Re: dflat - work in progress game and deployment question

I'll second @Dbug: All classic disk-based devices will do the job.
Else, the ORICART is exactly made for such ROM-like projects.
It's not coincidence that I used dflat as part of the first demo ;).

@ jbperin : I've just realized that there is something suspicious in my previous captures. I'll re-do them again, together with all requested modes in your other thread (i.e. ayramp). Meanwhile I've created a simple playground for you :) : play-with-ay.png You can start experimenting with AY instant...

Re: A new well-known compiler

The last changes in CC65 are mainly bug-fixes, in VBCC maybe some unrolled-loops features are introduced but I'm not sure.
Indeed, release notes may give more explanations.
