I hope I haven't misunderstood your question, I'm no Assembler expert!
No, that explains it very well, thanks! Thought this was a file-based assembler, for some reason .. didn't get that far into the manual yet, but will do soon. Cheers!

Re: Parallel port MIDI interface

The PCP2x4 is a PCP with more UARTs, same protocol. I've had both of these interfaces (probably still got the 2x4 somewhere) and have used them with that driver in the past.

If I can find the PCP2x4 I'll join the effort to get MIDI working on Oric.

Re: Parallel port MIDI interface

The 2x4 is in fact supported by this very driver, so .. not to worry. Just search for PCP2x4 and you'll see the things you need specific to that interface, but everything else is equivalent for the earlier model. EDIT: just wanted to say that I used these very interfaces on Linux in the very early d...

Re: Missing games from Oric.Org

This may be a good place to ask - I've been looking for the DRUM COMPUTER program for Oric for years. It was a pretty useful little rhythm program that used the Orics' synthesiser to make drum patterns, and it was very usable. I've searched all over for it, I remember it was a type-in somewhere, so ...

Re: Colorful 360° 3D little Game Tech Demo

Just bloody wonderful. One thing I do wonder, though, is whether its necessary to render this in realtime, or if in fact bitmaps can just be loaded from disk. But, I don't really know what I'm talking about, so whatever ..
