Re: Oric Smash
Just one other small detail; the magazine spelt the authors name incorrectly. He's actually called Myles Dunlop and had several games published in the magazine.

Oric Smash
Hi, I've just noticed that a corrupted tape image has been added to Oric.Org called 'Smash'. Upon checking the machine code data it seems to be the exact same game as 'Oric Smash' which was a type-in game published in 'Your Computer' Magazine. No tape image for this is available on the website so I ...

eBay game prices
I've just checked out eBay for the first time in over a year to see if there are any bargains or job-lots going for Oric Games so I could potentially start collecting again. I simply could not believe my eyes when I saw the prices some games were listed at. Candyfloss & Hangman and Reverse by IJK; £...

Re: Gamebase Oric V1.00
I'm so depressed living in the UK amongst Bigots, Xenophobes, Racists and Homophobes that I have decided to delay work on my Gamebase and buy a Kitten instead to calm my nerves. I feel ashamed to be English... (yes I know I wasn't working on it much anyway but I feel kinda drained after the devastat...

Re: Gamebase Oric V1.00
Yes but I managed to find a copy online and re-downloaded it. Needless to say I now have considerably more back-up copies! Some of the type-in games I was adding to V4 were on a memory stick so that's saved me some time at least.

Re: Gamebase Oric V1.00
Tetrix is available in the V3 release of Gamebase Oric. I was working on V4 but lost everything after my hard drive and backup drive crashed. Although V4 may never see the light of day I am still slowly adding new games just in case my motivation returns.

Excellent! I bid nearly £40 for this game on eBay years ago but still didn't win it!

Re: "Autoroute" by Peter Shaw
It stands for Motorway 4, all Motorways in the UK are numbered. I live next to the M62 which is one of the worst in the UK!

Re: "Autoroute" by Peter Shaw
Pieton appears to be based on the game M4 which was indeed by Peter Shaw. It's a listing in 'Games for your Oric'. It likely was renamed Autoroute as that is a far better name than M4 (which only makes sense in the UK).

Re: Encounter - Corruption, or protection?
The version I had ended with GOT13550. I've checked line 13550 and it seems to be the correct GOTO line so I simply corrected the spelling mistake which doesn't appear to have caused any kind of corruption in the code.

Re: Blake's 7 feedback and review thread
I managed to find a scan of the review which indeed was in Issue 176. I've added it to this post as an attachment.
