Still have to finish the game. I'm working on so many Oric subjects at the same time that this is on hold at the moment, hopefully not for too long...

I'm sure I mentioned it in an issue of Micro Mart a few weeks back, with some screen shots included (two of).

The Oric world seems to have exploded into action just lately. Keep up the good work chaps! It's good also to see quality over quantity.

Regards,

Shaun.

It's not really a recent phenomenon, but projects become larger and larger, so take more and more time and involve more and more people, it just happens that the development of some of these games reached their ending about at the same time :)

And yeah I agree, better few good games than a horde of substandard crap :)

The cool thing is that we also have newcomers doing pretty good quality stuff like O-Trust and Picross, so it does not all rely on the usual suspects :)

Additionally having a decent new emulator that runs on almost anything pretty much helps making it easier to join the party :)

Stefan Haubenthal pointed me to this one:

Seems that xxl is doing a nice job porting recent Oric games to the Atari, which is nice to see, instead of the other way round... :)

It's not an Oric emulator. I think the author just hacked the code to use an Atari video mode and address. He's done this with Apple II games as well.

This game was reviewed in Retro Gamer and recieved (I think) a 78% rating.

It would be nice to share each other code, I'd love to see knight lore and alien 8 on the Oric based on your conversions.

The source code of Stormlord is available already:

I guess we can put the source code of Impossible Mission as well if Twilighte is fine with that :)

Well, you have to send it to me if you want me to upload it ;)

Or since you have SVN access you can do it yourself :)
