IJK interface diagrams.

This is the right place to discuss on how to implement hardware vsync, adding a VIA or AY chipset, puting multiple roms, or how to design a new flash expansion card.

If somebody don't find the CA3083, can use the ULN2083 too.

Hello
I am testing IJK fitted games with the Oricutron emulator (Stormlord, Zebbie, Gubbie, AOTC)
The config file is set in the IJK mode, emulated with the keyboard (U,H,J,N used as arrows)
All is OK
But with a real Oric connected with my homemade pcb only AOTC works correctly :?: :?:

Mistery..

Maybe the capacitor is too light ?

kenneth, please, check your PCB, the pin 6 of DB9's must go at pin 8 of IC's, and pin 4 of DB9's must go at pin 4 of IC's. I can see other wrong things in the tracks from printer port connector to ICs.

Hi again!

More wrong connections in the PCB... Pin 3 of printer connector must go at pin 2 of the ICs connected to DB9s and pin 7 of printer connector at pin 7 of same ICs.

Hello Silicebit
I am sorry about my slow way to answer, my modem was blown out by thunder.
I have good news: I tried to test my pcb with the DefenceForce Wiki program and I saw that all joystick connectors works perfectly ! I just found that the fire button of my joystick works badly.
The Gubbie game (other version) works (the both connectors) and Zebbie too. :D :D
The 2nd and 3rd Gubbie files was recognized by the emulator but not by a real oric (oric read the "oric title" but not "Windows title" of the file)
I forgot something: <The PCB is not false, for a better way to make the PCB I inverted some transistor (pinout assigment)
But the diagram is still the same
bye

Hello,
If you want I can help with PCB creating. Looking at the plate it would not be over 5-6 euros/plate. But I will need the gerbers.

They told me that there's not drill file. Can you generate? What software for PCB creating you use?

Hello Jorodr
I'm using this program to create my pcb

http://www.clubic.com/telecharger-fiche10061-tci.html

I just noticed with GERBER viewer that TCI does not create the holes. Yet they are present in the diagram made from TCI. :?:

Maybe the soft I like to use is too old....
It's a geek reflex
