Video output for Oric-1?

This is the right place to discuss on how to implement hardware vsync, adding a VIA or AY chipset, puting multiple roms, or how to design a new flash expansion card.

Video output for Oric-1?

Post by tingo »

Has anyone made a video output for their Oric-1?
I searched (ok, Googled) but couldn't find a description / building instructions anywhere.

Why do I want video instead of an RGB-to-SCART cable? Because it is easier to get the signal into a PC if the signal is video instead of RGB.

Well, I couldn't find it.
I am looking for drawings, schematics, building instructions or a how-to on how to create a video output for my Oric-1.
(Yes, my electronics knowledge is a bit... old, so I need a refreshment)

you can build a simple composite cable, but you will get black and white.

By software filtering of the video input, you can get back a colored picture
