Microdisc controller + Amplibus, do you want another batch? CLOSED LIST.

This is the right place to discuss on how to implement hardware vsync, adding a VIA or AY chipset, puting multiple roms, or how to design a new flash expansion card.

Thanks!

There are a couple of interested parties on the Oric Facebook group. Can you give me the combined cost of the Controller and Amplibus please and I will forward the info on?

What I wonder at is just how many Oric users there are in this thread! Hey guys, what do you all do with your Orics?

You need the controller AND the Amplibus. The Oric bus signals are too weak and noisy. You will also need a floppy disk drive (3.5, 3 or 5.25). Alternatively, you can use an HxC floppy emulator or a Gotek with the HxC firmware.

The controller can work with up to four drives (I have mine with two).

The Zaxon flopper should work fine with the controller!
