Amplibus alternative - Microdisc Interface - Cumulus help?

This is the right place to discuss on how to implement hardware vsync, adding a VIA or AY chipset, puting multiple roms, or how to design a new flash expansion card.

Amplibus alternative - Microdisc Interface - Cumulus help?

Post by Steve M »

Found details of this project in my paperwork. I think it is from Théoric - apologies to DBug - but this has English translation, nto found in ThéOric downloads.

Has anyone built it? Does it work well with Cumulus ???

Thanks! Nice article and I'll try it. Actually it should be the same as 'internal' PH2 amplifier.
Here interesting and bit strange is the usage of 3 buffers in parallel - normally such connection
should be made with 'open collector' elements (for instance 7407) and common resistor to Vcc.
Using 74126 can lead to self damage of the chip, but it will not burn the Oric :).
