I have two Atmos keyboard and both have some keys that are bad. I can sometimes get them to work if I press hard. Does anyone have experience fixing bad keyboards?

You can remove the keyboard key when pulling it (carefully)

There is several explanations about the malfunction

the two blades of the switch are dirty
the elasticity or the blades decreases
bad soldering
control the soket of the keyboard bus

Generally the contacts just need cleaning but sometimes a bad solder can be to blame. Check the keyboard diagram (Adcanced User Guide & Service Manual) to see if a row of keys are affected.

I have one or two keyboards with a single key not working. I've checked the switch with a continuity tester and it is OK. Where do I go from here? I can't see any problems but the key doesn't work. (it's a B on the latest keyboard. )

Any ideas???

Ah - sorted it. The connection between the solder and the track wasn't good. Another keyboard saved !
