I've just scanned this one :
about 38Mo
and this one
about 36Mo
OK, two books in french, but they are of interest :
- The first one for those who want to discover The Atmos
- The second one is a compilation of programs (yes, another one, but it is very good for some point)
Here are my personal reviews :
Oric Atmos - votre micro-ordinateur
Michel Bussac
1984 - CEDIC NATHAN, collection micro monde - ISBN 2-7124-1506-X
In this one, the beginner will find evething in order to familiarize himself with an Oric Atmos. Topics range from a bit of hardware (what is inside, how does it work...), to a bit of programming, and a few tips about existing softwares and peripherals available.
Oric Atmos - vos programmes
Michel Bussac, Gil Espèche
1984 - CEDIC NATHAN, collection micro monde - ISBN 2-7124-1510-8
This book present various type in programs in BASIC (+Machine code in DATA) : games, programming utilities, home applications, etc...
What is particularly interesting in this book is the fact, put aside that the programs are very well commented, that you will find some very nice machine code routines (vertical and horizontal hires scrolling) and how to reuse them.
Through those little programs, a lot of very usefull tips are given in various domains : Text attributes, state line, caracters redef, Loading, Saving, memory, Hires, Lores, Music, sounds, etc...
Definetly a good book for the beginner who wish to master the Atmos, progressively.
Definetly, for me, it is the intermediate book between the user manual, and "Au coeur de l'Oric Atmos" from Gilles Bertin.
Dbug, where do I upload ???
