Geocities is closing

In this forum you can write about anything that does not fit in other forums.
This includes generic Oric talkings and things that are totaly unrelated but want to share with people here :)

Geocities is closing

Hi all,

I just learnt (a bit late ;-) that Yahoo will close Geocities this year. I wonder why they bought it a few years ago?

I'll have to move my old website somewhere else, I'll keep you informed.
Note: must not forget to update the Oric web ring !

It would be very nice to know what Oric sites will be effected by this so we can mirror their contents, and/or let the authors know whats up .. maybe not all of them will be paying attention.
