Game Instructions

Post by coolman66 »

Is there perhaps a place were game instructions could be downloaded or simply put on screen to be able to be written down , I'm thinking of instructions that are more complex then -up -down - left -right and shoot specifically Lothorian games or any game indeed programs that have complex instructions A scan of the tape inlay would suffice in most cases ?

If you are logged on oric.org, most programs there have some "stuff" at the bottom, including scans of the inlays, manuals, etc...
Most of the time you can see instructions there.

Lothlorien doesn't seem to have any extra files for the strategy games I looked at.

Cool.

Maybe we should find a way to have a common FTP or something? Because I had scans for most of these titles but never had time to update the site.
Something more or less private where we could drop and pick scans quickly, allowing updaters to pick or complete things there.
(I'm saying FTP because it's not another slow web-based thing)

What I hope, is that all these things, database, assets, comments, etc... are backed-up somewhere so all the work does not get lost in case of a catastrophic failure.

I agree.. perhaps the existing admins would consider making a complete torrent of the entire archive of media .. ?
