I presented a new Oric demo at the Very Important Party 2015:
http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=65688

I will soon add the source code, the youtube link and the dowloadable file are on the top right of the pouet page.

Awesome!
I tried to read simultaneously all four scrolled texts and I failed ...
than I understand from the nfo file in OricTech.7z : "...be totally unreadable" was a requirement :).
Thanks for the fun and for the nice graphics ideas.

Great to hear 4-bit sampling, I look forward to one day groking that code!

Nice demo once again!
Funny, I was (painfully) working with 4 bits samples last week.

The source code is now available: http://miniserve.defence-force.org/svn/ ... /OricTech/
Beware: You need to upgrade to the OSDK 1.6 if you want to rebuild it.

Nice one!

But I'm sure a fifth wavy scroller would be nice too ;)

I was considering putting a 5x5 pixel scroller in the two raster bars, but I ran out of time and free memory :)

Hehe, I'm impressed by the "xor" effect, it's quite nice!

If such a demo have existed in 80's, I am sure Oric would have lived longer with thousands of more games and software in the database, beating up spectrum software corpus. Maybe with more advanced and powerful descendant Oric machines would have developed like amiga of commodore...

I reall admire that... Really incredible !
