Magnetix sound tracks

Post by barnsey123 »

Does anyone know where I can obtain the music tracks from Magnetix?

There's some really cool tunes and Sfx which I'd like to re-use somewhere. The intro music is awesome...last's forever. In particular there's a haunting "spacey" sound which I'd like to use in my moon adventure. Would Twi mind as long as he's credited?

It'd be nice to put these tunes - and others - on a menu driven disk so they can be played at will.

Any help will be very welcome...

It's not lasting forever... only 20 minutes :)
I don't think Jonathan would be against it.
Now I'm not sure how it's stored but it's probably not rocket science.

The files are done with Sonix (3.4) and are on the Sonix master disk IIRC.

You could adapt the soundfiles and change them to produce a new tune. Sonix uses different 'building blocks' which can be played at different times etc to build up to a piece that can last a long time.
