This is great news and it points out another interesting angle of the Oric, and its dependence on Entropy as a functional part of the core system .. ;)

Nice one! Off to svn update ..

I have been studying documents mostly, no real progress in terms of development, but I think I'm starting to see a way to proceed .. now its just a matter of finding the right hardware for the job ..

My 13-year old self would be laughing his ass off at the fact that my 39-year old self is currently thinking about learning French just so he can get access to some Oric-1 tech .. ;)

This looks like a really nice tool, thanks for informing us about it! On the "old programs getting lost" subject, I remember back in the day I used to have a "Utilities" Tape for my Oric-1, which had a bunch of general-purpose programming/hacking utils for the Oric .. there was something on there th...

Yeah I will have to spend some time trying to get it working with sound .. haven't been able to do that with my Linux workstation so far. But you know what I really want? To use my Atmos with a microdrive. That would really, really make me happy .. I'd especially like to be able to load it up with a...

I really can't wait to play this game - maybe all this tweaking and tuning talk would be better focused on letting some beta testers give you some feedback and *then* you can start worrying about gameplay balance?

Just looking for a way to play it, heh heh ..

What about disabling parts of the HUD that are un-necessary during combat/lots-of-objects-on-screen situations, or haing a 'low-res' HUD mode that kicks in when performance starts to suffer?

I'll give a try under WINE .. but one stupid question: wasn't there a native C compiler for the Oric Atmos at some point, which could be used to build full-blown apps? I must confess to becoming more and more foggy over the years about such things, and was never quite savvy with it in the good ol' d...
