The same that with Cumulubus or AmpliBus, but with AmpliBus or Cumulubus you don't have to open the Oric. Also, both regenerate other signals more.

¡Hi baz67! Perhaps you like this: ftp://ftp.cpcszene.de/pub/Computer/Allgemein/Floppys/Hitachi_HFD305S.pdf see pages 16 and 21. I'm using two drives TEAC FD-235HF A529. Great drives, with lots of jumpers. You must use 720K disks, 1.44M disks don't work unless you close the window with adhesive tape....

Hi again!

More wrong connections in the PCB... Pin 3 of printer connector must go at pin 2 of the ICs connected to DB9s and pin 7 of printer connector at pin 7 of same ICs.

kenneth, please, check your PCB, the pin 6 of DB9's must go at pin 8 of IC's, and pin 4 of DB9's must go at pin 4 of IC's. I can see other wrong things in the tracks from printer port connector to ICs.
