ok, no samples in first release, its decided! No more issues outstanding, webpages for game written and working but not online yet, release is imminent... :) I think it's a good idea to get it out there and get people testing it. Then when you release a version with samples you can include bug fixe...

Look for other 8 bit computer 5 byte format floating point numbers.
It will be 4 bytes representing the number, 1 bit the sign, and 7 bits the exponent. At least if it is consistent with other machines.

It's not an Oric emulator. I think the author just hacked the code to use an Atari video mode and address. He's done this with Apple II games as well.

Of course I respect that we all have different interests, and I certainly wasn't suggesting that you drop everything .. but imagine if we actively could solve this disc problem for good? If we *all* had the ability to have decent storage on our Orics, this might ensure that our machines, themselves...

That's actually not a bad suggestion for a project. The gameplay and graphics aren't very complicated. The only difficult thing would be voice which could be added later.
