Re: Oricium feedback and review thread

Getting the vsysnc hack to work seems easier (in oricutron) - had one or two problems before but not with v1.2.

Re: Oricutron with serial port emulation

Hi dudes, here is HNEFATAFL ONLINE v0.6 which has been tested on Oricutron Rev:626 on Win7 x64. Created using latest OSDK 1.3 For Disk: HNEFATAFL-ONLINE.DSK For Tape: HNEFLITE-ONLINE.tap NOTES: The DSK version is a bit twitchy (been working fine but tested again before posting and the initial screen...

Re: Oricutron with serial port emulation

Have compiled latest oricutron ok. I really like the graphical, clickable keyboard option. :D nice feature. Have started to build an online version of hnefatafl based on Fabrices routines from teaForTwo. There's a few complications but hopefully should have something to show in the next week or two ...

Re: MOON ADVENTURE

Haven't done any oricing for a while. But here's something to look at: Original file (about 1mb, 41 frames, 400x400) asteroid4.gif As you can see the asteroid images occupy a central strip in the middle so there is wasted space. Using Imagemagick I cropped the gif using the smallest possible strip (...

Re: Eclipse and WUDSN IDE

A description here from pouet from 2011: http://www.pouet.net/topic.php?which=7997&page=1 things have probably changed since then. @dbug: On the link JAC (the author of WUSDN) says that "all" we need is an XML file and some classes which probably makes sense if I knew more about it. I'...

Eclipse and WUDSN IDE

Hi Guys, I know this topic has been discussed before in various dark corners of the interweb but that was a couple of years ago. I only started using WUDSN yesterday to dip my toe in the water for an Atari A8 project (who am I kidding...who's got the time!?) BUT it looks like it could benefit Oric c...

Re: Oricium feedback and review thread

Very playable, good controls, looks good, sounds good...a landmark game for the Oric! :D I'd like to make ONE suggestion...at the end of a level I think there should be some form of explosive sound effect as the ship is destroyed. The end of level tune should play after the ship explodes. Other than...

Same here...nothing serious, it doesn't affect readability and, as you say...probably need more juice.

Re: Cartridge Device for Oric

That's really cool. Now you need a menu system and a few more games.
I think this system will be great for people who just want to have a nostalgia blast and don't want to faff about with PC's etc.
Great for shows...
