Connecting the drive to PC is way beyond my experience and I can't risk my drive with such experiments...

Saving tape games to diskettes..
I am trying to load tape wav. files to my Oric and save them to my 3" diskettes. Basic programs are easy : cload them while playing the wav file, stop running by ctrl-c or reset button and save it to disk. Machine code programs are diffucult. Even if reset button works, start & end adresses...

I uploaded the archive file to mediafire too in case the file is deleted again. Each part is 200 mbs. I think mediafire is quite fast to download.

Under tap2cd topic, (http://forum.defence-force.org/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=901&p=8947#p8947) you might followed my story. To summarize, I had problems with transferring files from pc to oric via tap2cd. Other than this, I couldn't get colour display on tv as my tv does not accept oric rgb data...

RGB-Scart cable is also ready and now I can use my Oric via scart in colour and can load all the games thru my mp3 player :) Awesome ! As scart cable issue is other than tap2cd topic, I will start another topic about my experiences on rgb scart cable. Again thank you very much for all making my Oric...
