Re: Oric SD Drive in production

Hialmar you coul use CiderPress: http://a2ciderpress.com/ This is very useful tool to work with Apple ][ images. But to write tap images you must delete synchro row I thing. It's been a long time ago, have I sent you the patched Oric games for Dos 8D? I have some that you sent me yes. I will look a...

Re: Oric SD Drive in production

Thanks for the manual Jorodr.

I will try to do something like tap2dsk for Bobby Dos ASAP.
It should be easy to adapt the tools that are available for Apple 2 DOS 3.3.

Re: Oric SD Drive in production

I have one of the prototypes. Basically it's the equivalent to the Pravetz 8D disk drive. Therefore it works with Bobby Dos which is almost equivalent to the Apple II Dos 3.3. The small Drive on the emulator was originally built for Apple II by the way. I don't know if it was modified slightly thoug...

Bobby RDOS documentation ?

I'm searching for infos on the Pravetz 8D Bobby RDOS.

I'm mainly interested in ASM code for loading and saving data and switching from one program to another.

My goal is to port the code I'm working on to the SD Emulator that I bought from Jorodr.

Re: Equivalent of the NEW basic command ?

Indeed as I said it's more a laziness problem ;)

I think I read on the OSDK pages that the C code uses another stack but I do use some ROM routines which may put things on the stack.

I could store the value of the SP at the beginning of my C program and restore it just before jumping to the Sedoric.

Re: Equivalent of the NEW basic command ?

Thanks to both of you. I will replace the jsr with a jmp and see if it still works. As for hard coding the stack pointer it's just that I don't know exactly what my C program put on the stack before this code. So well it's easier to hard code it. I have made sure the first value on the stack is stil...

Hehe the r666 is only me reverting to a standard Oricutron.cfg.
Let's hope this won't bring the antechrist to earth ;)

Re: Equivalent of the NEW basic command ?

Ok I have finally found out that my problem was that I was filling the stack because I call an ASM routine from C and can't do a rts because I then directly jsr to the Sedoric interpreter. So well, I now overwrite the stack pointer to $1fe just before doing that. Okay it's not very good but it seems...

Re: Oricutron: BUG with .tap files

I have put this in revision r665. I have corrected one little thing: tape_found = tape_load_tap( oric, tapefile ); if( !tape_found ) { // Try appending .tap strcpy( &tapefile[i], ".tap" ); tape_found = tape_load_tap( oric, tapefile ); // added tape_found = so that the next test is okay } if( !tape_f...

Re: OASIS very very early alpha tech demo

Using a save disk is also completely on par with SCUMM games.

That and swapping disks during the game (which is not that much of a problem with a cumulus or an emulator).
