Re: How good (or bad) my English knowledge is? - NonRelated question

I can't possibly know the meaning of the phrase, for example "His victory came once in a blue moon" - not without the Google Translate services or something like that because I in my life newer ever have heard it: I can understand the words in that sentence but can't understand the meaning of that ...

Re: some missing functions in OSDK

I'm not against fixing or extending the library, specially if it improves the compatibility with the standard. What I don't want is: - Functions that are just literal translations of BASIC commands, that already have standard equivalent implemented. If the point is to convert old BASIC programs to C...

Re: How good (or bad) my English knowledge is? - NonRelated question

I don't think you are a A, mostly because as a programmer I tend to be very brainy: "A" would be an English language specialist who would have discussions with Hemingway, Kipling and Woolf regarding the number of mistakes and incorrect usages found in the English grammar books used by students. So r...

Re: Kryoflux: How to setup?

The HxC software can read DSK files, but not write them (it's not implemented):

That being said, you may be right with the Kryoflux raw parser, that may be the simplest way to implement the converter.

Kryoflux: How to setup?

So, I got myself a Kryoflux device a few months ago, and since I'm planning on formating a few floppies for my own usages, I'd like first to archive whatever is already on the floppies in order to avoid lose potentially important data that could be of interest to some people. I know that some floppi...

Did you manage to get it working, Dbug?

Keep us informed :)
I had a few busy weekends, did not really touch my Oric last week :)

OSDK Issue Tracker

Hi, I've tweaked a bit the Issue page on the OSDK website: http://www.osdk.org/index.php?page=issues Now you can sort issues by Component (XA, PictConv, etc...), ID, Date, or Reporter (name of who reported issues). Additionally, there's a bug reporting field at the top that can be expanded to send r...

Re: Oric Microdisc: Master/Slave selection

I guess it would not hurt to extend the library to the purely digital files :)

Re: Oric Microdisc: Master/Slave selection

Ha cool, thanks for the PDF, I did search the reference but did not come up with anything! And I guess that should help me figure out how many drives I can put on the PSU, I stopped using the original Oric one that was starting to ZZZZzzzzzz loudly, so I replaced it by a small Switching PSU that doe...

Oric Microdisc: Master/Slave selection

I know that the Microdisc controller in theory supports up to 4 devices, which is confirmed by the Microdisc user manual: Le lecteur MASTER (A) a un cable plat qui sort de l'arrière du boitier, et qui va sur l'ORIC. Les lecteurs esclaves sont livrés avec un cable plat et une prise femelle sur la fac...

Jasmin/FTDOS to Microdisc/Sedoric

Last year I got hold of a pack of 3" floppies with Oric software on it, that I did not manage to read on my Oric. Then I found out that one of the floppies was a FTDOS 3.2 system disk, so I assume that the other floppies are also using FTDos. EDIT: There was also a T-DOS 2-2 (Face A: Atmos, Face B: ...

Cumulus with Wifi/SD Card?

The other day when I was testing my SpeechSynthesizer, I had to compile on my pc, copy to the SD card, unplug the SD card, plug it in the cumulus, reset the Oric, check it worked, remove the SD card, plug it back in the PC, ... rince and repeat. I was wondering if anyone had experience with these SD...

Re: Better code generation (for CC65)

So, I was given the problematic source code, and I took a look at it. The problem is with a wrongly generated zero page indirect access... using a label not in zero page. More precisely, we get this error: ...\font.s(48): 090e:Overflow error on this particular instruction: lda (Lfont65),y I'm going ...
