Re: Connectivity problems (again)

The router has been restarted (and updated while I was at it).
Could you check if you see any change in the connection issues?

Re: OUM magazine scans...

Maybe related to the issue which was signaled earlier with people not able to connect. That being said, yes there's a limitation to the attachement size, and I'd rather host the files properly and not on the forum. If you put the files somewhere I can download them and put them in the Oric Library: ...

Re: Connectivity problems (again)

Only seeing that now... late on Sunday :-/ From what I saw things are ok on the ISP side (https://www.lynet.no/status) and the router is not signaling any issue either, guess I'll try to reboot the router and the server. Next time you notice problems, could you please immediately post some message, ...

Re: ORIC SDCARD

I would be interested in one, if it was fully built, tested and ready to use: My ability to solder things has led to the destruction of many pieces of hardware, so now I try to avoid that :)

Re: Oric Atmos manual wanted

Before you start it, please put something on the expansion bus to make sure you don't plug the +9v on the bus by mistake. You can use an old floppy drive cable connector, some sticky tape, polystyrene, etc..

Re: Pulsoids

Interesting, that would mean that the game is dependent on some system variables?

Re: Oriclopedia: A series of videos on all things Oric

Glad you like them, I'm trying to blend the topics (hardware, software, ...) and the country of focus (England, France, ...) to try to give some variety. I'm thinking in covering the following: - Magazines and books - Floppy drive systems (including modern SD card variants) - Cables and video - Joys...

If what you say is true, then we should see the start of the next line continuing until reaching the end of the line?

Re: HRC in the works

But ... be careful what you poke into #BFE0-BFFF though, from memory the ULA does over-read into that area, so you might inadvertantly trigger a 60Hz attribute without knowing it. Test this by poking some 60Hz text/hires into this area in a normal HIRES mode, and see if you can get the screen to un...

Re: HRC in the works

That's why I like the LZ familly of compressors, it can do dictionary and RLE at the same time, and it supports "depacking on itself" with a small additional buffer, so your additional 40 bytes would probably work. One thing to consider is that the screen will probably be super mangled during the de...
