Just talked with @rax (he is off for the longer version of the holidays ;)) - there are probably missing element(s) in the level, so expect a fixed version asap!

Re: Different tape input sound volume

From what I see on pics and from my memories (because I'm sure I have an Oric with this mod) here is the "secret": Tape-input-diodes.png Both diodes limit the input signal to about +/- 0.7V - this was made as kind of protection for the LM358's input but it changes/distorts heavily the signal too. In...

Re: Kryoflux: How to setup?

Easy, just drag and drop two at the same time. It can't fit them both into the first drive! Cool! I just recently discovered the drag-n-drop feature (macOS/Linux) :). I'm trying to finish the triple-boot (actually quadruple-boot with Telestrat) which in past was detected by CLK as Apple][ because o...

It's actually interesting to have, if only for "sys info" type of programs :)

Re: Jasmin time

Well, let's wake-up little this thread... The last 10 days I'm focused mainly to find solution which works stable with real Jasmin. Unfortunately no joy so far which starts to drive me crazy... After solving lots of small details during boot process, now the problem is that the same code drops bytes...

... file-format in that world called 'Pasti' (extension STX) that I think could be a good fit for for an Oric. Hi, @ThomH! I'm happy to "see" you around and thanks for the interesting info. I follow your updates in CLK regularly, compiling after every commit with hope to find a way to load DSK file...

Re: OricExos - making the impossible

About the multi-channel audio: I used ArkosTracker 2 . I found in its samples this 9-channels tune (i.e. in sub directory: songs/ArkosTracker2/9Channels/The Last V8.aks). The export is easy: from File menu Export as YM, and you can save every 3-ch. PSG as standalone file. I think this will work for ...

Re: Real Time 3D example

Congrats, @jbperin!

Both demos are definitely cool and good basis for further evolution - for instance into a 3D-game. :)
I follow your development progress on orig.org but thank you for posting here too, so more people can try and have fun with your demos!

After TAKE, use DEEK(2) to find the buffer address.
Why and how to force user specific buffer for TAKE command - I dunno :)
This works for Sedoric2 and Sedoric3.

For ROM/EPROM + Microdisc compatibility and Phi2 improvement, please also read CEO-MAG no 288, april 2014, pp. 8-13. :D
Thanks for refreshing the memories!
There are also other solutions but here the point is to confirm/bust the myth that with certain models EPROMs it can work "as is".

Re: Cumana disk interface problem

Does anyone have a working Cumana + GOTEK setup and be able to share their experiences and how you get it to work. Maybe with some pictures as well? I am thinking of maybe getting a real 3.5” Floppy Drive but want to try the GOTEK first. My Goteks work fine with Cumana, Original Microdisc, @Slicebi...
