Re: Cumulus Preorder Thread

@Symon: yes, my Pravetz is open since 26 years :). And yes, the moterboard is normally with components up, so CumulusBus should be plugged with chips down. I checked everything (common GND, +5V) with multimeter before power on. Interesting in my Pravetz is that the printer connector is with 90deg be...

Re: Cumulus Preorder Thread

Thanks, metadata!
I have pickit-3 (and can find pickit-2 too). I'll try to resurrect my Cumulus.
If the PIC is broken I can even replace it.
Anyway, burning things is important part of the fun :D ...

Re: Fast scrolling game howto, anyone?

On 2nd: It's nice as proposed! An alternative can be (in pseudo C code): while(!detect_hack()) { message("Plug the VSync cable ..."); if(key_pressed()) { calibrate(); break; } } if cable is already plugged or user plugs it, process will continue automatically. if key press occurs - do calibration an...

Re: Cumulus Preorder Thread

Indeed, vary bad luck!
I found some schematics on retromaster's site and it looks the same what I see on PCB.
There is a connector for PIC programming and I have the right programmer, so I'll check it first.

Re: Cumulus Preorder Thread

Will it work with Pravetz-8D? After long postponing I tried Cumulus with Pravetz-8D here is the result: - connected properly and 3 times checked :) - power on Pravetz - freezed on memory pattern (i.e. black/white vertical stripes on screen) - Cumulus works allowing to select image from SDCard - 're...

@Chema: what OS are you using? I can provide Linux/Win 32/64 WIP builds (or VIP build for you:))

Re: Visual keyboard for Oricutron

I fixed Pravetz 8D visual keyboard and all keys work as expected.
Additionally added two new options in 'oricutron.cfg' file:
; Visual keyboard
show_keyboard = yes
sticky_mod_keys = yes

If set - Oricutron starts with Visual keyboard shown :).

Re: Oricutron 1.0 (EDIT: Now 1.1)

The 'other day' was today :).
I added copy to clipboard functionality for Linux and Windows. It copies text screen only.
I hope some one find it useful!

Re: Oricutron 1.0 (EDIT: Now 1.1)

Some time ago I added the clipboard handlers for Linux(X11) and Windows. Actually only 'paste' from host clipboard to Oricutron is implemented and exactly as Xeron said - it depends what is currently running in emulator and if it reads keys via build-in functions. 'Copy' from Oricutron to host clipb...

Re: Replic'Oric

Congrats for the idea and for the readiness to make it real! I have the same intentions but (as usual) no enough time. Anyway, I would like to be helpful with everything, so here some info which may be handy. jorodr already started his project Pravetz- 9D - an extended version of Pravetz-8D/Atmos. T...

Re: Programming the 6502 - Rodnay Zaks

yep, it's really fun to make emulators (count me with 2 more :))
@Xeron: I started Oricutron's android port, just need more free time - if you have any special ideas/requirements about that pls, contact me.
