... And another order from me Godzil, I filled the survey 2 days ago! Looking forward to it.. In the meantime though I have a question: what type of SD cards will be compatible (SD, SDHC, ??), and what maximum size can the SD card be??? Not that I plan on using an UHS-1 64 GB card, but these days it...

Hello, A couple of other mistakes I noted regarding tape I/O : (these comments ONLY apply to ROM 1.1, I've never used routines from ROM 1.0 / Oric 1): * p.59: oversight for flags at $25A and 25B (missing values): - $25A (tape merge flag): I don't know the values, sorry... - $25B (tape load/verify fl...

I have created a new format for Oric tape files. (...) ORT (Oric Raw Tape) files can contain raw square wave data for the tape input, as well as decoded bytes, and it can interleave the two. (...) I will also make a converter that can read .tap/.wav/.ort and save out .tap/.wav/.ort (any combination...

Huge thanks to you Dbug! Without the Defence Force, I doubt I would have rekindled my interest in these machines - but having you guys around really made all the difference to me as an Oric/Atmos fan. I raise my virtual glass to you, sir! Same here DBug! Without defence-force.org and oric.org, I wo...
First of all, MANY THANKS Dave for this awesome games compilation project! I just stumbled on this post, I never heard of your project before (well, I didnt' spend much time on this forum before very recently..) so you see, even in 2015 you are getting new fans!!! I understand your point though abou...
Hello, Looking back at my past messages on this thread I'd like to apologize for two things: - first, for kind of hijacking this thread that was originally meant to discuss MIDI play for Oric! Sorry, that was really bad forum etiquette, but I didn't do it on purpose or knowingly, I swear!! :-) - and...
Chema, Dbug: thanks for your answers !! And sorry Chema I missed your first answer, it was funny afterwards when I discovered you had actually replied before I mentioned your name and that you had considered porting the game !! Back to the auestion of 'it is doable on the Oric'...Well, you both said...
Hi there, You'r very welcome, this was sincere, you really have a talent for graphics, that's for sure!! I do understand though what you mean about porting this game, I am very well aware this would be a monstruous task, and I for one would also be unable of such a feat... I I were more skilled in 6...
Hmm thanks. I also observed that .AY format files could also be easily converted to .YM with AY emulator program. This enlarges the music database that can be transferred to Oric. Just an example :) First I converted prince of persia music from .AY to .YM. Then to MYM etc.. http://www.youtube.com/w...

Hi, Many many thanks for this AWESOME adaptation on the Oric... I was a great fan of the Atari ST version and I find it just incredible to see how well the game has been adpated to the Oric: excellent work on the graphics, unbelievably smooth animation, great music and perfect playability! As all he...

Hi Chema and a million thanks for this game, this is just AWESOME!!! I never knew the original Uridium game, but Oricium rings back very fond memories of my latter days with "Goldrunner" for the Atari ST!! Just one thing: maybe I'm a crap player, but I'm finding the difficulty level to be quite hars...

Hi, I Installed the OSDK some weeks ago and fortunately I saw this bug right away while having a look at lib.h, otherwise I could have spent hours trying to figure out what was wrong when using pokes and peeks ! ;-) Would be nice to fix this small glitch in the next release of OSDK... To answer wask...
