Very nice gameplay! It seems like all thats necessary is a little tweaking with the chars and you'll have made a pretty good game!

Wow, all these new guys with their C programs .. ;)

This is brilliant! Nice work! I was pretty surprised at how concise the C code ended up being .. very inspiring.

Re: OricExos - making the impossible

Plus there's the fact that there are now 4 cases to be used in restoring other Orics. ;)

Anyway: full support for OricExos from me! Can't wait to see the madness produce fruitful results ..

Re: OricExos - making the impossible

It is really painful to see these boards being modified, so I hope you guys know the pressure is on to make this project really awesome. Which it already is, just .. waiting with baited breath to know that those poor old Oric's have suffered lobotomies for good reason.. :)

Re: Poly 1 Computer

As I understand it, this used a TELETEXT chip for the text layer, and had other layers that could be imposed somehow? Seems wonderful. I'm guessing we'll get a taste of this with OricExos..

Re: Oric Kong converted in C, need beta test (and graphist !)

Fun code to read - is the intent of TEMPO1..4 macro's to, at some point, allow the game to play at different tempos? For example, for the door opening sequence, which imho still needs to be much faster .. Another fun thing to tweak, which might be related to a TEMPO change, is the keyboard tempo at ...

Any chance you might put this in a repo so we could push contributions to you using standard tools such as git?

Re: Oric Kong converted in C, need beta test (and graphist !)

Its not a bad idea, but its just that the time period is too long .. cut it by half and it would probably work...

Interesting .. but I think the wait-period for the gate to open is too long .. other than that, a fun little game. Will play it some more and give feedback ..

Re: re cumulus

Meh, I don't feel like contributing to a project if I have to dig through some obscure path to find things, then manually compare 17 files in different folders to find the differences, when it could be so much simpler with a proper branch compare. Oh no, now I'm doing the "spit the dummy and throw t...
