Re: ORIC SDCARD

I don't know much about Fritzing but I opened this up to have a look - do I have to Autoroute the PCB first, to get something I could send off to be made? Because when I do that it seems to make a PCB with a lot of empty space .. The other thing is, should we maybe coordinate a group buy of PCB's on...

Re: OricExos - making the impossible

Yes indeed, it looks great - really looking forward to seeing what can be done in HIRES mode, though .. its going to be interesting to see what can be done about attribute clash in this configuration .. like, if it can be exploited somehow, actually ..

Re: Wich scripting language for OSDK ?

I vote Lua. I've used it in projects for years and it is definitely the shortest and .. imho .. sweetest path to success. For those who haven't learned it yet, 'tis very easy to learn. And as a language: much power. Do not underestimate the value of meta tables! And, it has the least load. You can p...

Re: Space Invader - C vs Basic

Cool stuff - interesting conversion. The difference in speed is pretty obvious - but what's going on with the sound in the C version? To me it feels like the C version gets interrupted by sound more severely than the BASIC version .. maybe its just a perception problem since the C version is noticea...

Re: OricExos - making the impossible

Honestly, I am aghast at where this is going. Mode 2 looks binoculars huge... but all of them are just .. beyond the pale. I'm guessing though, there is going to need to be some nice new tooling set up for this .. pictconv is gonna need an update, for sure .. ;)

Re: EAD65C and MINITEXT Manuals

I would love to have EAD65C util itself, let alone docs for it .. so count it as an enthusiastic: yes from me.

EDIT: "Oric Atmos and Oric 1 Graphics and Machine Code Techniques - Geoff Phillips" - I'd love to have this.

Really nice work! Listening in the background, I forgot it was an Oric. Always nice when music brings such changes..

Re: OricExos - making the impossible

Jaw-droppingly great progress! I can't wait to see what you'll do with it in terms of creative hi-res/hi-color modes .. man. Things like this make me wish Twilighte was still with us, I'm sure he'd be burning pixels like mad...
