Re: New Oric Phoenix or Pravetz 9D

I think it's completely possible to make a machine we can use to check emails or chat. In console. of course. And we won't have hardware NSA backdoors, we just need some minimal hw which is able to run a couple of console programs.

Re: New Oric Phoenix or Pravetz 9D

If I am not late, let me also express something about my needs. May be these are not good for the first version of 9D, or may be it'll be good for 10D? First of all, I'd like to have two versions - Desktop and Robotics. About desktop version I think that 0. Backward compatibility may be weakened in ...

Re: What is the oldest PC computer capable of running Euphor

I did run Oric emulator on ST.
It was slow, a little bit. But it was working and very convenient because I could use ST floppy disk.

I did it.
First - need to connect to IN port. I figured it out by looking on schematics.
Second - mplayer on nokia/maemo does not play files well.
The same files load normally from mplayer/linux/nocona.

Thank you :)

from time to time I think about developing Oric Basic compiler to native, or via C/pascal to native. The question is there are a lot of basic programs with machine code in DATA strings, and they then do CALL to execute machine code part. This needs an emulator or leads for idea of 6502toC or somethi...

Hello. I was trying to cload tap2wav converted wave files to my pravetz with mplayer running on nokia n810.(Maemo) I have compiled tap2wav on it, nativly for ARM, and tried all options: -11, -8, and default. The problem is, nokia's soundcard gives output with strong basses, and Pravetz needs high fr...

Why not just trying to get your compiler for your language to just produce a Xa (or other) compatible source code ? this is what I am trying to do. Now compiler generates code and calculates addresses of variables at compile time. Compiler may be configured to use this or that area of memory to sto...

Re: Euphoric - the next steps

Very good news! Thank you! As I've said on the general board, I'm happy to start developing on from Fabrice's excellent euphoric package. I'd also like to make this more of a community effort. To that end, I'm thinking of putting euphoric up on sourceforge. In order of importance this is how I'd lik...
